According to Mingpao more than 4,000 tickets will go on sale for the upcoming World Cup Qualifier match between Hong Kong and China on November 17th, 2015. The total capacity of Mong Kok Stadium is about 6,500, however, 1,200 tickets have already been sold as “home game packages” back in May.
It is expected that the Chinese Football Association will be allocated around 400 tickets for their away fans, which equals 6% and is also below the recommended FIFA quota of 8%. This could be seen as a response to the similarly low allocation for the match in Shenzhen on September 3rd.
HKFA will decide within this week about the exact ticket arrangements. Check out offside.hk for the latest updates or sign up to our newsletter!
