Andy Chiu

Locally born and raised, Andy developed his early love of Hong Kong football by watching Instant-Dict as a kid. He started to become a fan of Arsenal after Instant-Dict quitted the league, and has been a passionate Gooner since then. Andy's love of local football was rekindled by the outstanding performance of the Hong Kong national team in 2014. Andy is currently pursuing his PhD in the University of Warwick, Department of Sociology, he is researching on the sociology of football, nationalism and identity politics in Hong Kong.
