In the battle of two Asian Champions league contenders at Hong Kong Stadium, Kitchee defeated Eastern 2-1 to claim both the senior shield as well as a much-needed morale boost as they face Vietnam’s Hanoi on January 25th in their vital qualifying game. Kitchee dominated the first half and though Eastern came back in the second half, goals from Andreas Lam and Jared Lum proved to be enough to claim the title.
