Remembering Wu Kwok Hung: Personal Memories

Many articles have been written about Wu Kwok Hung in the past few weeks, but few of them talked about more than just facts and figures. In the days after the sad news of his passing, offside.hk reached out to Jim Liddell, who used to be goalkeeper for Hong Kong Rangers during the 1970s and met Wu on the pitch on several occasions. Born on 22 May 1949, Wu Kwok Hung (胡國雄) spent his childhood in the pitches of Blake Garden, a small park in Sheung Wan on Hong Kong Island, where he developed his skills with other kids from the neighbourhood. Pre-Sales for Hong Kong vs Qatar game start on July 3rd

Today the HKFA announced that the pre-sales for the 2018 World Cup Qualifier home game against Qatar will already start on July 3rd, 2015, 10:00 am. The tickets are available via “Cityline” sales channels. Given the previous sell-outs against Maldives and Bhutan, we highly recommend that you obtain your tickets as soon as possible. The game will take place at Mong Kok Stadium, as the bigger Hong Kong Stadium is still under renovation. Hence, a relocation is very unlikely.

Date: 8 Sep 2015
Kick Off: 8 pm
Venue: Mong Kok Stadium (capacity: 6,500)
Ticket price: HK$ 130 (adult), HK$ 40 (local full-time students below 26, senior citizens)

In each transaction, guests can only purchase up to 4 tickets.

The pre-sales for the game between Hong Kong and China on 17 November 2015 at Hong Kong Stadium will be announced later.
